Study options

What are you going to do with this time?

Start your programme in January 2021 and progress to Cardiff University in September 2021. You can choose how you study, either on-campus or virtually from your home. Our experienced, specialist staff will be available to offer academic guidance, tutorial sessions, careers advice as well as personal and welfare support. We’ll get you to where you want to be, the way you want to get there.

We offer a choice of study options so you can feel confident to start your programme, keep your studies on track and achieve your university goals.

Join us on campus

If you join us on campus, you can expect:

  • Blended learning, which is a mixture of face-to-face and virtual teacher-led learning
  • Experienced teachers and support staff
  • One-to-one support at every stage
  • Additional health and safety measures

Start virtually from home

If you join us by studying your programme virtually from home*, you can expect:

  • Virtual teacher-led learning
  • Experienced teachers and support staff
  • One-to-one support at every stage
  • Flexibility to join us on campus when you can, at any point during your programme
  • Supportive staff to help you transition to the UK when the time comes

What if travel restrictions remain in place?

We hope you will be able to travel to the UK and study with us on campus. If, however, you are unable to travel for the whole of your pathway programme you can complete your studies from home.

The University will recognise virtual-only study and assessment for progression for the 2020/21 academic year due to the exceptional circumstances related to COVID-19.

Joining us from September 2021

Our aim is for our campus to be fully open for the start of your course in September 2021 and to get you where you want to be, studying at Cardiff University. Please do check back here regularly for updates on our plans for September 2021.
